Our Super-Flex-Tours allow all of our clients the freedom to essentially be individuals traveling within a group setting. Yes, we can customize a Brazil adventure that is packaged specifically for you and your travel companion(s) at our group rates. You simply join us at our group hotel and stay for the duration of our group stay and we can design that special trip for you to Brazil that will allow you to capture all that you want to experience in Bahia and more!

Our Bahia based travel team is made up of friendly, experienced, bi-lingual, tour guides and private escorts who are knowledgeable professionals licensed by the state of Bahia.

One of our key travel partners in Salvador Bahia is Bahiatursa Bahia’s largest state tourism agency and we’re especially proud of our very successful working relationship with Bahiatursa’s director of African Heritage Tourism, Billy Arquimimo, a Bahia native whose knowledge of Bahia state is priceless!

We offer creative trip customization options for our tour guest that allow you to be a part of our overall group in theory only, because, with a few exceptions when we’ll travel as a complete group, you and your travel companion(s) can design a trip with us that contains daily activities that you want to experience.

When you travel with us you only participate in activities with our overall group when you choose to do so.

Our unique group tours will always allow all of our tour clients, regardless their age, gender, race, or nationality, the individual freedom to personalize their own Brazilian adventure with us. Moreover, while our specialty is cultural excursions to Salvador Bahia, we can also package exciting, unforgettable trips to Rio de Janeiro for those adventure seekers who want to put an exclamation mark on the total Brazilian experience.

We welcome anyone who has a passion for travel and wishes to join us as we explore the Afro-Brazilian vibe in Salvador da Bahia Brazil.

Today Salvador da Bahia is the largest center of African culture in the
Americas. The city looks, sounds and smells like Africa. You can taste it in the palm-oil-and -coconut-milk-drenched seafood dishes, and of course hear it through the music. Amidst the colonial architecture and cobblestone streets, there is an unmistakable beat of African rhythms pulsating through this historical city.

We specifically schedule our annual summer trip to Salvador Bahia to coincide with The Order of Our Lady of the Good Death Festivities aka Festa de Nossa Senhora da Boa Morte which falls on the Friday closest to 15 August and lasts three days. This is one of the most fascinating Candomblé religion festivals and it's worth a special trip to Cachoeira Bahia
Brazil, a small hamlet about 2 hours west of Salvador da Bahia, to witness this special event. Organized by the Irmandade da Boa Morte (Sisterhood of the Good Death)—a secret, Afro-Brazilian, religious society—the festival is celebrated by the descendants of slaves, who praise their liberation with dance and prayer and a mix of themes from Candomblé and Catholicism.

Sisterhood of the Boa Morte is the oldest organization for women of African descent in the New World.

The Boa Morte Sisterhood is a secret society of African-Brazilian women, all descendants of African slaves, who sponsor a procession each August that parades through the streets of the historical city of Cachoeira on the banks of the Paraguacu River.

Festa da Boa Morte is perhaps the most important festival on the African Heritage calendar in Bahia and is a living tribute of African Diaspora Culture in Brazil.
